You have two ways to check how much time off an employee currently has or will accrue by a specific date:
- Employee Profile: Go to the employee’s profile to view their time off balances directly.
- Reporting Module: The Time Off Balances Report provides detailed time off information for any date you choose.
In this article, we’ll explain how to calculate time off balances from the employee’s profile.
How To Calculate Time Off Balances
- In the People module, select the employee then click the Time Off tab.
- Find the Time Off Type you want to check, click on the three dots and select Calculate Balance from the dropdown.

You can use the calendar to choose the dates you want to calculate the balance.
You’ll see the employee’s current time off balance as of today, along with any approved future time off requests. By selecting a future date on the calendar, Humi will calculate how much time off they’ll have accrued by that date.
And that's it! You can now easily check the time off balance for any employee. We recommend using the Time Off Balances Report to view the balances for multiple employees at once.
