How to Remove an Employee from a Plan/Class who is Still Employed
There may be times when an employee no longer meets the eligibility requirements to participate in the group benefits plan, but they are still an active employee. This could be if they are now part-time, if they work below the minimum hours per week for the benefits policy, or if they move to another country.
With Benefits Plus, removing an employee from a benefits plan is a piece of cake.

To remove the employee from a benefits plan and keep them as an employee in Humi, please submit a request through your Benefits Experience Manager at benefits@humi.ca.
Please include the following details:
- the employee’s name
- the effective date of the removal
- and the reason for the removal
