How To Add or Update Your Email Address

Are you looking to update or add a new email address to your employee profile? This guide will walk you through the process.

Within your Humi account, if you have multiple email addresses, one must be marked as the Primary email, usually your work email. However, you can set it to any email address you prefer.

Notifications Will Be Sent To Your Primary Email

It's important to note that all notifications from Humi will be sent to your Primary email address. Additionally, any verified email address added to Humi can be used to access your Humi account.

How To Add or Update Your Email Address  

  1. Click Profile from the menu, then click on the Account tab.account-tab.png
  2. Scroll down to the Emails section.
  3. Click the + Add new email link in the bottom left corner.
  4. Add the new email to the pop-up, then click Save.add-new-email.png
  5. Once you've added the new email to Humi, it will initially be marked as "Unverified." It needs to be verified to become an active email.

    To initiate the verification process, you’ll receive a verification email from "helper@humi.ca." Simply open the email and click the "Verify Email" button. This will confirm the email's authenticity and activate it within your Humi account.

Didn't Get The Verification Email?

If you haven't received the verification email, please check your junk/spam folder, as it might have been sent there.

If you still can't locate the email, you can resend the verification email by clicking on the three dots and selecting "Resend Verification" from the dropdown menu.

7. We're almost done! Once the email has been verified, you can set it as the primary email by clicking the three dots on the side and selecting Make Primary from the dropdown.

Congrats! Your new email has been added to Humi, and you can use it to log in from now on. If you made this your primary email, all future Humi notifications will be sent to this email ensuring you stay updated on all important matters.

  • Hi there! We make sure the primary email is the personal email so staff receive their paystubs and T4's to their personal email, however it is inconvenient for admin to receive time off request to their personal email. Can we set email addresses to go with different roles in humi? Thanks!

    Currently, Humi is only able to support one primary email address per user. That said, we're always looking for ideas on features we can bring to the platform. If this is something your team is excited about, you can submit a feature request through Humi.
