How to edit or remove an "Income Type"

If you need to edit or remove any of the additional or custom "Income Types," this article will show you how to do it. 

1. In "Payroll" click on "Income Types" tab.

2. Scroll to find the income type you need, then click the three dots and select "Edit" or "Remove" from the dropdown menu.
Edit the income type

You will only be able to change the description of the income type; all other details will be locked.

Remove an income type

When you click "Remove," this will pop-up to confirm the action. Click the "delete" button to remove the income type. 



Once an employee has been paid with the "Income Type," it will still show up on the YTD records for the employee should you choose to remove the "Income Type" afterwards.
