How To Request A Custom Income Type

Need to pay your employees for something extra, like retroactive pay, car or cell phone allowances, or other perks? We've got you covered! Humi lets you easily add different income types to your payroll with just a few clicks.

However, if the income type you need isn't provided in the dropdown menu, don't worry—you can submit a request for a Custom Income Type. We'll typically have it ready for you within 24 hours.

How To Request A Custom Income Type

  1. In Payroll, click on the Income Types tab.
  2. Click the + Income Type button in the top right corner.
  3. Click the Request Income Type link in the upper right corner of the pop-up.
  4. Fill out the Request Custom Income Type form.
  5. When you're ready, click Save.
  6. Once the income type has been set up (typically within 24 hours), you'll see it available under Extra Pay when you click + Other link while running a recurring or off-cycle payroll.
