Who Needs to Complete KYC Verification?
In Humi, anyone with permission to run payroll or move funds must complete identity verification. This includes all users with the default Admin role and any custom roles with Payroll access.
What You Need to Complete KYC
To verify your identity, you’ll need the following:
- Government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or national identity card)
- Be prepared to take a few selfies (webcam or mobile device)
That’s it! This process in Persona should take you about 5 minutes to complete. If completed successfully, your identity will be verified within 1-3 business days.

Keeping Your Account Details Accurate
To ensure your information remains up to date, we may periodically ask you to confirm your account details. You will be given 180 days to complete this verification. If any of your information has changed during this time, you will be required to complete our full Know Your Customer/Business (KYC/B) process.
Please note that verification is not a one-time event. Depending on your business risk rating, you may be required to re-verify your identity periodically to ensure ongoing compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
