Step 2 - Review Employee RL-1s

  1. To review and edit an employee's RL-1, scroll down to the Employee Tax Forms table.
  2. Click on the three dots to the right of the employee and select View Details.
  3. This will open their RL-1 Details page.

There are two sections on this page:

  1. Employee Details These are populated based on the employee’s profile data in Humi.
  2. RL-1 Details These are auto-filled based on your payroll setup configurations.

 

Make Edits to RL-1s

If you need to edit any of these details, click the Edit button in the top right corner of the section and make the changes.

Understanding where changes take place

Any edits made on the RL-1 Details page will only update that specific RL-1. Updates made in the Employee Details section will not update the Employee’s Profile page, and updates made in the RL-1 Details section will not update your payroll records for the year or any reports.

As well, updates made to RL-1 Details will not update any details within the employee’s T4 Details. You'll need to update this information in both places.

 

How to Preview & Review Edits to a RL-1

Once you’ve finished editing the employee’s RL-1, click the Download Preview (PDF) button in the upper right corner. This will download a preview of the edited RL-1, allowing you to review it thoroughly before finalizing it.

Make a mistake?

If you've made any mistakes, you can simply revert your employee's RL-1 to its original version by clicking the three dots and selecting Revert to Original
