If you have a document that requires more than one signature, you can assign multiple cosigners in Humi.
How to Assign a Document With Multiple Cosigners
- When you add the signing template to Humi, use the dropdown menu to select the Number of Cosigners.
If you didn't select the number of cosigners when you uploaded the document, you'll need to upload the signing template again and select the required number of cosigners. Once you have completed this step, you can delete the incorrect document. - Click the Create button and use the template editor to add signature fields for the cosigners. Then, save the template.
- Humi will direct you to the document page. From here, click the Assign button to select the employees needed.
-
In the Assign Roles pop-up, select the employees required to sign the document.
Are the Cosigners the Same For Everyone?
If you have the same cosigners for everyone you assign this document to, save time by selecting the "Save employee to this role" box.
Once checked, the chosen employee(s) will automatically populate that field as the cosigner whenever you assign the document. To stop auto-populating them as cosigners, simply uncheck the box.
Assign the Signing Order
You can customize the signing order for this document by clicking on the Assign signing order box near the bottom of the pop-up.
After clicking this box, each field will be numbered, and arrows will appear beside each role. You can use the arrows to adjust the signing order by moving the fields into the desired positions.
Once you've made all adjustments, click the Save button. All assignees will receive an email and dashboard notification to sign the document.
