When you add documents to Humi, you can download the original document or a signed document at any time.

In this article, we'll show you how to:

  • Download a document 
  • Download a signed document 

How to download a document

You can quickly download a document from the table view or the document page. 

Download a document from the table view

  1. Find the document you want to download using the search bar, tags or in its respective folder.
  2. From the table view, click the three dots and select "Download" from the dropdown and your document will be downloaded automatically. Screen_Shot_2022-04-11_at_4.04.28_PM.png

 

Download a document from the document page

  1. Find the document you want to download using the search bar, tags or in its respective folder.
  2. Click on the document, and Humi will direct you to the document page.
  3. Click the three dots on the top right corner and select "Download" from the dropdown menu. Screen_Shot_2022-03-24_at_2.48.39_PM.png
  4. The download will start automatically.

    Important note

    The document displayed in the "Doc Preview" box will be downloaded. Follow the steps below to download a signed document.

Download a signed document

  1. Find the document you want to download using the search bar, tags or in its respective folder.
  2. Click on the document, and Humi will direct you to the document page.
  3. Click on the "Employees Assigned" tab.
  4. Scroll or use the search bar to find the employee who's signed the document you want to download.

Audit Trail of Signing Documents

When you download a signed document, an "Audit trail" will be added on the last page. This audit trail contains a detailed document history, including the following:

  • Date the document was assigned
  • When the employee viewed the document
  • The date the document was signed
