Edit or delete a Task Template

If you've created your "Task Template" but then realized you made an error, don't worry because you can easily edit or delete it from two places:

• "Task Templates" page 
• "All Tasks" page

Edit or delete from the "Task Templates" page

1. In "People," click the "Tasks" tab and select "Task Templates" from the dropdown menu.
2. Scroll or use the search box to find the "Task Template" that you need to edit. 
3. Click the three dots on the right side of the "Task Template" and select "Edit" or "Delete" from the dropdown menu. 
   

   Important note

   You can delete "Task Templates" and existing assigned tasks won't be affected.

Edit or delete from the "All Tasks" page

1. 1. In "People," click the "Tasks" tab and select "All Tasks" from the dropdown menu.
   2. Scroll or use the search box to find the task that you want to edit.
   3. Once you've found it, click the three dots at the right of the task and select "View Template" from the dropdown menu.

      Important notes

      If you select "Edit" instead of "View Template" from the dropdown menu, this will only make changes to the task assigned to that specific employee – not the "Task Template."
      
      If you don't see the "View Template" option in the dropdown menu, this means that the task was not created using a "Task Template."
      

      
      
   4. From here, click the three dots on the right-hand corner and select "Edit" or "Delete" as needed.
