Recruiting is a fluid process, and we know that hiring plans can change quickly. If plans have changed and you're no longer actively recruiting for a job posting, there are two ways you can manage your job postings:
- "Archive" a job posting – use this option when you're no longer hiring for that role. The job posting status will be changed to "archived," and it'll be removed from the job board. All applicants will also be removed from the "applied" funnel and be archived. If you would like to permanently delete a job post, email support@humi.ca.
- "Pause" a job posting – use this option when you've gotten enough applicants for your job posting and don't want to receive any more. Pausing a job posting will remove it from the job board so that you won't receive any more applications, but you'll still be able to manage existing applications in your job funnels.
How to archive a job posting
1. In "Recruiting," click on the job post you want to archive.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "Archive" from the dropdown menu.
Unarchive a job posting
If you want to "unarchive" a job posting so you can start receiving new applications again, follow the steps above and select "Unarchive" from the dropdown menu.
Unarchiving a job posting will revert it to an "active" status, making it available on your job board again. You'll be able to restart your recruiting process for the role with access to all previous applicants.
Note: All previous applicants will still be in the applicant directory with an "archived" status. Learn more about how to manage your applicants here.
How to pause a job posting
Popular job postings can receive hundreds of applicants, which can be overwhelming. To help manage this, you can "pause" the job posting if you've received enough applications.
Pausing a job posting will remove it from the job board so you won't receive any more applications, but you'll still be able to manage existing applications in your job funnels.
1. In "Recruiting," click on the job post you want to pause.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "Pause" from the dropdown menu.
Unpause a job posting
If you want to "unpause" a job posting so you can start receiving new applications again, follow the steps above and select "Unpause" from the dropdown menu.
This will change the job posting's status back to "active," and it will be available on your job board again so new applicants can apply.
