Change Policy
It's common for Type Off Types to have multiple Time Off policies. You can easily change the Time Off policy to which this employee is currently assigned using this tool, and the change will take effect immediately.
However, if you don't want to change the policy right away and instead want to schedule it for a specific date, you can do so in "Time Off." This article will show you how.
Erase accruals
If you want to delete all accruals for this Time Off Type, you can do so with a single click.
Requests and manual adjustments will not be deleted, and the Time Off Type will be removed from the employee's profile. You can reassign the employee to a new policy in "Time Off." Learn more about configuring and assigning Time Off Types and Time Off Policies.
Yearly Usage
The following section, yearly usage, displays a visual representation of the time off types the employee has used for the year until today.
Each Time Off Type is represented by the colour you selected when configuring it, and there's also a handy legend above to remind you what each colour means.
To see the yearly usage for previous years, use the dropdown on the top right corner.
Requests
In the "Requests" section, the table displays all time off requests the employee has made, including the request date, type, how many days requested, the description and the request status (approved or denied).
Transactions Log
Lastly, on the Transactions Log, you'll see all transactions that have impacted the employee's balance for the selected Time Off Type.
To view the transactions of a different Time Off Type, use the dropdown in the top right corner to select it.
By clicking on the "Date" column title, you can sort this table by descending or ascending date.
To learn more about a ledger entry, hover over the (i) symbol.
The transaction log is extremely useful in determining why an employee's balance is what it is and can help you answer any questions that may arise from your employee.
