What is Ameego Instant Pay?

Ameego Instant Pay (AIP) is a payroll benefit that empowers employers with a convenient, cost-free way to offer on-demand pay to their team members. Instead of waiting for their paycheque every two weeks, team members can now immediately access their wages at the end of each work day.

Why this makes sense?

Risk-free: Ameego’s Instant Pay funds all early wages requests from team members. There is no risk or liability to you. Funds are automatically recovered on the next pay run.

Implementation and support: There is no additional overhead for you to implement and manage the feature. Ameego handles all the integrations and employee support.

Pricing: AIP is completely free to you.

How does it work?

STEP 1 - Sign up: Team members can sign up for AIP through the dedicated Ameego and KOHO web page.

STEP 2 - Transfer: Ameego will transfer their number of hours worked to KOHO.

STEP 3 - Link bank account: Then, team members link their existing bank account to their KOHO account.

STEP 4 - Cha-ching: Team members can access up to 30% of their daily earned wages, at the end of every work day. (NOTE: Up to 50% can be accessed if they update direct deposit to KOHO.)

STEP 5 - Recollection: KOHO will automatically recover early distributed funds on the next payday.

How can I promote Instant Pay to my Team?

FAQs:

  • How does this impact my payroll runs?
    • It doesn’t! You run payroll like normal.  This is simply an update to your team members financial institution (direct deposit information).
  • Are there any fees for the employer?
    • There is no cost to the company; AIP is free to implement.
  • What about for the employee?
    • Team members can access their wages in their KOHO account on the next business day for free. For instant access, there is a small fee.
  • What if there is an error in the punch time information like team members forgetting to punch out?
    • KOHO allows access to 50% of earned wages for that exact reason. 
    • On payday, KOHO will reconcile any differences over the 2 week period for team members and deposit all available funds. 
  • Is there French support?
    • Oui! KOHO est offert en anglais et en français partout au Canada.
